Miko - I get close to him and he wops me on the head. Mom says maybe if I stop jumping at him, he'll stop being so testy with me.
Sachi - He won't even let me rub against him. But he lets me share the window. Vash is our brother. Do you think he'll ever love us back?
We're sorry you're having trouble getting accepted by your brother. Maybe if you ignore him, he'll come to you. Do you have a toy you can let him play with?
ReplyDeleteWe are glad, though, that he lets you look out the window together.
At least he lets you come close. Give him time to accept you when he is ready.
ReplyDeleteHey! Thanks for coming by my blog! Looks liek you two are gonna be close friends one day watch out he'll steal your heart!
ReplyDeleteWe bet, in time, Vash will be happy to be closer to all of you.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it takes time. Gemini still doesn't really like me..
ReplyDeleteIt just takes time. Keeping our paws crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteWe bet he'll come around...some cats take longer than others...
ReplyDeleteWe think Vash will love you more as time goes on.
ReplyDeleteJust a bit more patient with Vash (I like his name)--you can tell he's trying..it's happen. I like the photos!
ReplyDeleteWe think Vash will eventually come around. Our cat brother Alex was 20 years old when we came to live here as feisty two month old kittens. We used to drive him crazy. Eventually he accepted and even loved both of us. We love the name Vash! There was a female character on Star Trek named Vash. (Our Mom is a geek!)
ReplyDeleteGive it time...our brother Nigel is still adjusting and it's almost been a whole year. I do like him now even if he is a bit of a cave man.
ReplyDeleteIt can take awhile, for sure. Hopefully it will happen soon! Just keep trying without being pushy. Or whap him once in awhile... MOL
ReplyDeletePurrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Some kitties just don't like to be touched by other kitties. My Domino is like that -- she'll swat either of her brothers if they get too close to her. But the two boys will cuddle and groom each other.
ReplyDeleteI guess it all comes down to the purrsonality! I'm sure Vash loves you, but touching just isn't his thing.
Ellusive, make em beg for it.
ReplyDeleteTristan hisses, growls, and spits at me each time I try to touch her. I'd love to cuddle and lick her, but she just won't allow it. You may be outta luck, furriend:( ~Crikey
ReplyDeleteHe seems to like being around you so after a little more time he'll come around. We're sending purrs that everyone is happy together soon!
ReplyDeleteYep, he will love you back, my guess is he already does! Some things just take time!
ReplyDeleteI think you two will be come best friends. That is what usually happens. So don't give up.
ReplyDeleteWe think over time, Vash will love you! Just like when Cricket came to our house early November. Took us a while and Skeeter, being more or less a loner, plays with her all the time, playing chase and stuff. All in good time!
ReplyDeleteSome kitties aren't cozy-cuddly types, and are slow to warm up to other kitties. I don't think Vash dislikes you guys - he just wants you to hang out near him on his terms.
ReplyDeleteSlowly slowly and you will get there, You are getting closer. The window shot is lovely.. HUgs GJ x
ReplyDeletethank you fur comin' to visit us today! we'd be glad fur you to come back--mom don't allus look like that;-)
ReplyDeletewe hopes you kin work it out amongst yerselfs to be furriends someday. we three boycats get along fine, but oh! that xing!! she likes the woofie but not us cats . . . her brain's built backwards, we guess.
Thanks for the visit to my blog! I understand lots about not getting along. I get all hissy when any of the other cats get near me!
ReplyDeleteWe have two kitties who do not cooperate in the same room together. I would like to see them peacefully coexist. For now they are in separate rooms all day. But some day I might try more supervised visits. I think Vash will eventually become more accepting of you.
ReplyDeleteFor other folks (I refer to kitties as people) reading this, my blog has stories and information helpful for cat caretakers everywhere.
All you kitties stay well!

ReplyDeleteI have not met my 3 BrOTHERS (Gandalf, Grayson and Whitey) yet, but Mom says that even after 6 months Grayson and Whitey still have hissy fits and whapathons. She thinks Grayson may be a little upset that Whitey stoled Gandalf from him. Gandalf and Grayson were together for about 5 years and were inseperable before Whitey.
ReplyDeleteHai furriends! Its great to meets you, I puts your linky under my cats who blog so I can come visits.
ReplyDeleteIt does takes time to gets use to new sisfurs or brofurs, my sisfur and brofur still have fights every once in a while but dey hasn't really liked each other at all. I knows dey still luvs each other though, some wheres under all dat furs MOL

Miko, we know that Vash is going to be cuddling with you soon. That sure is a beautiful window to watch some Bird TV. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
