Merry Christmas

What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace. ~ Agnes M. Pharo ~

Catline Crew wishes every cat and human a Merry Christmas. Keep warm and stay safe.

P. S. - Gracie's still working very hard at the Auction to help Fiona. Visit her if you can. Thank you.

Stubby - Present For My Girl

I left my family to go to the Bridge in October this year. I told them I would check in from time to time. I purred at my girl in her dreams and told her how special she was. I sent her a present this week, just in time for Christmas. She planted this rose bush just for me. It is the only one that is in full bloom.

Only the rose bush (she planted just for me) under her window is in full bloom.

Miko's Sneak Attack

Nobody's looking.

I'll just get a little closer.

Attack!

Innocent?

Miko - Scratching Post?

Mom bought a new runner for the hall. She said we clawed the old runner so much that it was in shreds. Well the runner was all rolled up and it looked just like our scratching post. So I started to sharpen my claws. She was not very happy.

I said I was sorry.

Sachi

I visit all the kitties and see them on the outside.

I dream of the outside.

But I think this is as close to the outside as I will get.

Miko's Hiding Place

This is one of my hiding places.

The rule is - if I can't see you, you can't see me.

Catline's Relaxing Day

This Sunday was the mom's special day. The dad made her a pancake breakfast. Her wish was to have a relaxing day with the family. So they went to see 2012 (great special effects). Then later they went to visit Princess. She's not very happy, but she doesn't have to wear her cone of shame anymore.

Since the mom wanted a relaxing day (no hissing, no growling), the only thing left to do was to sleep.

While the rest of us were napping, Vash had other things on his mind.

Catline Crew and Feetnip

The mom just shakes her head and just doesn't understand. She says we have feathers, we have mice, we have bouncy rubber toys, yet we still love stinky shoes. The boy that comes to visit told her that he just has the best "feetnip". Kitties just can't resist it.

Catline Crew - Dona Nobis Pacem

If the world would for one day lay down their arms, give up their feelings of hate, fear and envy - and choose love, compassion and kindness - what would the world be like?

Sachi & Miko

Looks like the humans are keeping us. We haven't been to the adoption center in over a week. So I guess we can play "Let's Get Vash".

Princess

Princess spent the weekend with us. She went back to the wonderful ladies at Cats In Need. They said that they would take care of her. And they were already busy making arrangements to check on her allergies. We know that they are overwhelmed by the number of kitties that they are caring for. We can't thank these ladies enough for all the time and energy they give to take care of these kitties.

I've found a pair of jeans that are the purrfect fit.

Princess

This is our friend Princess. She's definitely a lap cat and will give you lots of love. The boy human who had her can't keep her anymore. He's moving. He can't seem to find any humans who can keep her. She has special needs. She has severe food allergies and has to be on a special diet. She's an indoor only cat and needs to be in a one-cat home. She waited nearly a year with a rescue group before he adopted her and it saddens him to take her back. Princess lives in the Los Angeles area. We welcome any ideas on how to widen his search for a new home for her.

Vash

I came to this house about seven years ago. It was supposed to be a temporary thing for three months. But I'm still here. Do you think they forgot? Or maybe they just lost the calendar? I hope so.

In the mean time, I keep myself busy looking out the window, and sitting on the man human's desk giving him inspiration while he's working. I also give him massages, especially while he's on the phone.

Occasionally, I pose for a picture.

Tiger

I'm 12 1/2 years old now. I'm a BIG Boy. In fact, by human standards I'm a senior citizen and I still get no respect. These youngsters (Sachi and Miko), they think everyday is a play day. They jump over me when I'm sleeping and they chase me down the hall. Don't they know I'm an old guy. I hiss at them to put them in their place, but it doesn't last very long. What's the world coming to, when an old guy gets no respect. No respect.

I asked the humans to take a picture from my good side.

Sachi and Miko

We are the babies of the house. We are the foster kittens. The ladies at the adoption center are nice, but we really don't like being in a cage and have to put up with people poking and awing at us. We're hoping the humans will stop showing us for adoption and just decide to keep us.

We try to be good. We don't claw furniture. We did knock the mom human's vase down, but it was an accident. And the torn papers on the floor, well, we tried to hide and hoped she wouldn't notice. But she saw us with the tissue hanging from our mouths. Oops Guilty!

Quote of the Day - "Cats are just kids with fur."
